Pete Wentz and Ashley Simpson are raising their son to be a "...a citizen of the globe."
I like it.
Not that I really give a flying fuck how they raise their son. I'm just saying, I like the phrase. Citizen of the globe.
We should ALL be citizens of the globe. Not citizens of the United States, not citizens of the UK, not citizens of China. Maybe then, we wouldn't have these global warming, genocide, poverty, terrorism issues.
Maybe.
What I do give a flying fuck about is 30 Seconds to Mars' upcoming album. Thinking about pre-ordering one of their bundles. Release-date delivery would be pretty freaking sweet. As would the online chat I guess, but that's not worth so much considering THOUSANDS of people are probably going to be doing it too. I'm kind of out-of-touch with what the guys have been up to; college life is just too damn time consuming sometimes. Gotta catch up though. This whole business with The Hive is intriguing. I'm going to have to check it out when I do my semester in LA.
I recently went to NYC for the 6th Annual Billboard Touring Conference & Awards. It was really an incredible learning experience. Outside of the conference, I met Michael Lehman and CJ Strock, the manager and booking agent of the Allman Brother, respectively. I also met Dave Holmes, owner of 3D Artist Management and manager of Coldplay, My Chemical Romance, Scissor Sisters, Rilo Kiley, Jenny Lewis, Interpol, Serj Tankian, Minus the Bear, and more. The company does artist management, producer management, and the next step is to develop DH Records, the company's own record label. Meeting Dave was the hilight of the entire trip.
